About CES

We are a small private limited company based in Alexandria (Scotland) with over 30 years experience operating a lorry / driver and crane for hire to move generators, containers, cabins, boats, machinery, fabrications etc. We offer reliable, efficient and trustworthy transport solution specifically tailored to meet the needs of individual clients, especially where Hiab cranes are involved. Offering a nationwide transport service safely and quickly. No job is too big, too small. We are proud members of the RHA (Road Haulage Association) and ALLMI. All our vehicles are equipped with the latest safety equipment.

Owner Colin Stobie has over 30 years experience in all aspects of road haulage, specialising in factory machinery movements, risk assessment, method statement, crane test, chain test with operators certificates all available if required. In this time, we have successfully delivered thousands of loads, and overcome countless obstacles along the way. We have a reputation for delivering on deadlines safely and quickly for customers that cannot afford delays. CES are members of the Road Haulage Association (RHA) and are ADR, ALLMI qualified. Our transport services include lorry mounted crane hire (Hiab hire), container handling, the transportation of abnormal loads and escort vehicle assistance throughout the UK.
